Dining at Prested
|
We have a large organic vegetable garden at Prested and use our own produce wherever possible - other ingredients are sourced as locally as possible.
OUR CHEF is Chris Jagger
Chris began his catering career with the Royal Navy - which gave him experience of many different countries and cuisines - before gaining the privilege of working at the Royal Household of Windsor. Six years later he took on the challenge of being head chef for the Mclaren Formula One team. Chris then moved into weddings; he joined Leez Priory and catered for over 300 couples a year, before launching the very successful Gosfield Hall. Returning to his roots in Felsted, Chris moved to Reeves’ Restaurant which earned numerous awards, notably ‘Restaurant of the Year 2008’ and finalist of ‘Chef of the Year’.
Our menu always includes inventive vegetarian dishes, fresh fish and local meats.
If you have a favourite dish, just let us know in advance and Chris will be happy to place it on the menu for your visit. Similarly, we ask you to let us know if you have any special dietary requirements so that we can prepare something tasty for you.
The hotel restaurant is open between 7pm and 9pm and is open to hotel guests and non residents. Booking is essential please.
We ask you PLEASE TRY TO RESERVE IN ADVANCE.
We also offer private dining at Prested for celebrations and corporate events.
