Maintenance Workers

We are currently recruiting for experienced maintenance workers to join our current team at Prested Hall. The positions include carrying out general day to day maintenance at The Hall, Health Club and other premises on site as well as working on larger development and refurbishment projects.

The successful applicants will be able to work well as part of a team and be able to take instruction, as well as having the initialive, experience and confidence to work on projects alone.

The positions may include working weekends on a rota basis. Due to our location, your own transport is essential.

Bar & Waitressing Staff

Beauty Therapist

We are currently recruiting for an experienced beauty therapist, must be level 3.  You will need to be friendly, enthusiastic, and be able to work well both on your own as well as in a team.  The hours will be approximately 30 per week and will include weekends.  Due to our location, your own transport is essential.

Duty Manager

We are currently recruiting for a full time, experienced, hardworking and enthusiastic person to join our management team.  As a Duty Manager, you will play a full role in the day to day management of this beautiful 16 bedroom boutique hotel, with 4 function rooms and extensive grounds.  You will be able to work with, and lead, an experienced team of staff, and have a very hands on approach, leading by example.  We are committed to offering a friendly, relaxed, professional and discreet service, and are proud to receive glowing reviews from our guests.  You would be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, as well as maintaining our expected levels of service.  Other duties will include stocktaking, ordering of supplies, the training of new employees, cash and credit card handling, taking reservations, dealing with enquiries, ensuring the safety and security of staff and guests and other related tasks.  With our busy programme of weddings and other functions,  function rooms need to be turned around, furniture moved and new layouts organised, and you will play a key role in this activity.  The successful candidate will have proven experience within a similar role, be flexible with regards to shifts and have their own transport, due to location and shift patterns, which will include evening and weekends.  All permanent members of Prested staff are offered free use of our extensive health club.

Club Receptionist

We are looking for an experienced, hardworking, and enthusiastic individual to join our reception team at the Health Club at Prested Hall.  The role will be 30-35 hours/week including evenings and weekends.  Prested Hall is an award winning, privately owned hotel and wedding venue which plays host to over 150 weddings and events annually, as well as catering for many corporate clients and leisure guests who enjoy pamper breaks at our Elemis Spa.  As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and guests, and should have a friendly, welcoming, hands on and cheerful manner.  You will be responsible for dealing with enquiries and bookings for our health club and restaurant, serving in The Bistro at The Club and dealing with payments and sending confirmations.  We are very focused on offering a friendly, relaxed, professional and discrete service, and are proud to receive such glowing reviews from our guests.  You would be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, as well as maintaining our expected levels of service.  The successful candidate will have proven experience within a similar role, be flexible with regards to shifts and have their own transport, due to location and shift patterns. All full-time staff are offered free membership of our large modern health club, with a 40+ station gym, 20m pool, sauna and steam room and discounts at our Health Club bistro.
