Easter Sunday Afternoon Tea and Easter Egg Hunt

Bring your family along to enjoy a delicious Easter themed afternoon tea on Sunday 27th March.

Reservations are being taken between 2pm and 4pm, with the Easter egg hunt taking place in the grounds for children at 4pm.

The adult tea includes a selection of sandwiches, fruit scones with clotted cream and jam, fresh fruit meringue, hot cross buns, simnel cake, swiss roll and carrot cake, served with freshly brewed tea or coffee.

The children’s tea includes ham, jam and cheese sandwiches, chocolate rice krispie cake, fairy cake, ginger bread man served with squash. The children’s tea also includes the Easter egg hunt.

Adults £14.95, children 10 years old and under £7.95.

The Faulty Comedy Dinner

The Faulty Comedy Dinner is an interactive show.  It begins in the bar over pre-dinner drinks, where the audience are greeted by the characters.

Then, when the time comes, Basil invites the audience through into the restaurant……………

Once seated in the restaurant the audience will be will served a hilarious 3 course meal by the characters.  The chef is drunk, there’s a rat on the loose, the health inspector is on his way and a gnome has just turned up in the restaurant.

Basil only manages to make matters worse, Sybil has been hitting the brandy and Manuel is….well he’s just Manuel!  Fire drills, Germans, kippers and corpses, with everything building to a typically Fawlty Towers climax.  Just don’t mention the war!



Homemade basil and tomato soup, crispy herb croutons (v)

Pear, fresh fig and pine nut salad, with grilled halloumi and lime caper dressing (v)

Smoked salmon and spinach roulade, with a lemon dressing


Main Course

Braised feather blade steak and onions on horseradish mash with a red wine jus

Roast chicken breast stuffed with red pepper and cream cheese, with potato parmentier

Ricotta, spinach and sweet potato torte with vine tomatoes and a lemon and thyme cream (v)



Sticky toffee pudding with creme anglaise

Classic lemon tart with clotted cream

Vanilla panna cotta with mixed fruit salsa and shortbread


Arrive for 7pm to be seated for dinner at approx 7.30pm.
