What our visitors say about afternoon tea at Prested Hall in Essex:

5 stars for your afternoon tea. Great Service and delicious food.  I would absolutely recommend Prested Hall for afternoon tea. Fantastic service, delicious sandwiches and mouth watering cakes. Absolutely spot on and my two children were perfectly catered for as well as we hadn’t purchased a full tea for them as such but the staff made sure there was plenty of sandwiches to cover us all. Thank you. A great treat that we all really enjoyed.”

Great food, very good service from a shy waitress. Prested hall is very welcoming, cosy and the view is amazing. I’d like to thank the lady who booked us in at such short notice and managed to arrange our afternoon tea. Good service all round 5*****”

“Had a delightful Afternoon Tea here. We were looked after very well by the friendly staff and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. There was a great selection of sandwiches & cakes, all freshly made & delicious as were the scones with jam & clotted cream. We had both tea and coffee and I must compliment the restaurant on the coffee which was excellent.
There was a pianist playing soft music in the background (wearing his overcoat – maybe he was in a draught!). It was a lovely way to spend New Year’s Day afternoon.”

“This was my first visit to Prested Hall for afternoon tea and it certainly wont be my last. What can I say, gorgeous sandwiches a plenty, homemade scones and cakes all in beautiful surroundings. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, always making sure we had a full pot of tea and offering us extra sandwiches. All in all a fab afternoon which me and my mum loved. If you’ve not been try it, you won’t be disappointed!!”
