Welcome to Prested Hall - an intimate private country house hotel known for its caring staff, delicious food, lovely bedrooms, relaxed atmosphere and extensive leisure facilities.
Prested has 11 bedrooms, with comfortable beds and fine linens, and period reception rooms, with original features throughout. Its 75-acre setting seems a world away from from the A12 at the end of its long tree-lined drive. Kelvedon Station is just a mile away and Stansted Airport about 30 minutes.
Prested is also popular for conferences and functions, and the whole house is available for exclusive hire for weddings, house parties and business retreats.
The grounds are ideal for team-building events, workshops and outdoor activities.

Prested has a large modern adult members' health club, with a 20m indoor pool, gym, Powerplate room, sauna, fitness studio, and steam room. There are three outdoor astro-turf lawn tennis courts, and two indoor courts for the Tudor game of Real Tennis. There are two children swim sessions at weekends - see club opening times.
A range of beauty treatments and holistic therapies are available in our Prested Therapy Rooms. Appointments can be made by ringing The Club on 01376 573399.
Lunch and a modestly-priced supper are available Monday-Friday at the Club, with brunch at weekends, from 10.30-3pm. Members' social events, a book club and art classes are just some of the other activities on offer.
